Marketing Manager

Salary: £48,000 per year

Mercury Talent are delighted to be recruiting for a marketing manager for an expanding environmental services company. A competitive salary of £48,000 is on offer with a bonus offered leading to £60k per annum potential.

This is a new role as they are currently outsourcing 100% to marketing agencies. You will be reporting directly to the General Manager. The successful candidate will be experienced in creating a strategy, an annual marketing plan and reviewing all marketing activity with a view to changing/improving where necessary. Once in situ you will be responsible for recruiting a marketing assistant and then growing the team further over time.

Your main responsibilities will be:

* Reviewing current marketing activity and writing a strategic annual marketing plan

* Ensuring website meets all necessary criteria and working to improve that – potentially looking at e-commerce possibility

* Looking at a successful email marketing campaign if appropriate ( this hasn’t proven successful in the past via agency route )

* Ensuring twitter, linked in and over social media avenues have appropriate conent to increase sales revenue

* Working closely with the sales manager to ensure campaigns are followed up effectively and marketing strategy works with sales strategy

* Manage marketing budget and forecasting

* Campaign Management and forming a strategy that raises awareness and ensures KPI delivery

* Leveraging multiple techniques and channels in order to achieve objectives

* Responsible for using relevant, engaging content to attract and nurture prospects through the buyer journey

* Building and maintaining relationships, both internal and external as well as understanding the customers’ needs

The successful candidate will be able to prove they have grown revenue in their previous role. You will have strong collaboration and communication skills written, verbal, presentation.​ •You will be a self-starter with a positive approach to work. Exceeding objectives and increasing revenue to ensure the company growth should be your driver. You will ideally have experience in a service B2B environment.
