Marketing Executive

We are an award winning, family owned business proud of our roots dating back 150 years. We are now recruiting for two degree educated Marketeers to join our Marketing team and work with the Brand Manager/Customer Marketing Manager on the implementation of branded marketing activities to assist in achieving brand objectives in the UK. This includes input and assistance across marketing initiatives, event execution and administration as well as supporting the sales team as required. We invite applications from Business/Marketing Graduates with a minimum of 12 months relevant Marketing experience. Experience gained within an FMCG environment would be desirable.

Marketing Executive

* Prepare, implement and evaluate branded marketing activity for across all trade channels so penetration and volume share is increased; including 3rd party stakeholder management (brand owners and agencies) and relationship building and maintenance, an essential and important part of the role
* Maintain a good understanding of the UK market by utilising data and conducting ongoing competitor analysis
* Ensure that the sales teams are well equipped with the tools required to sell the brands in trade including up to date brand plans and presentations and ensuring that they are briefed and informed of any changes or developments throughout the year
* Support with administration and project management tasks on brands including bar and event item coordination and management and Incentive planning, coordination and management.
* Implementation of trade marketing and sales support for the brand/brands in the UK, including volume target tracking, budget management.
* Continual tracking and understanding of the product portfolio and the category through frequent competitor analysis and tracking and updating key stats and data insights as and when provided to ensure that the sales teams have up to date sales tools
* Presentation of marketing plans and activities to key stakeholders at relevant meetings including monthly brand meetings and monthly Heads of Department meetings
* Ensure all activities are achieved within budget
* Analyse data to identify new marketing and product opportunities
* Oversee the process of introducing new SKUs to market, working with the NPD team
