An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join the company.

As Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing, advertising and promotional activities to meet agreed company objectives and you will work in conjunction with key stakeholders within the business to develop and deliver the annual marketing plan that supports the business growth and development plans.

You will engage with all areas of the business to understand, develop and implement their marketing needs and will deliver high quality and engaging internal and external communication and events through a variety of activities in line with their values, which may include; attending exhibitions and industry events, running marketing campaigns.

In addition, you will achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media, will be responsible for the content of the company’s website and intranet site and manage the content and you will take responsibility for managing the company’s social media activity.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years previous experience within a generalist marketing role and will hold, or will be studying towards, a CIM qualification or equivalent. With experience of overseeing a broad range of marketing, advertising and promotional activities, you will also have knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts.

You will be an innovative thinker with the ability to develop new solutions and will be able to demonstrate excellent sales skills.

Our client is looking for confident, self-motivated candidates who are able to handle competing priorities and have good organisational capability. You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, will be able to lead and show example and will have excellent presentation skills. You must also have good keyboard and numeracy skills.
