Marine and Electrical Engineers DP / FMEA
Location: Essex or Aberdeen
Salary: £48,000 – £72,000

A market leader in the Marine Industry, specialising in Dynamic Positioning, requires Marine Engineers and Marine Electrical Engineers to join their experienced, established team of engineers to ensure the ever growing technical demands of their customers continue to be met.
Desirable Skills
+ Experience with Dynamic Positioning Systems
+ Experience working with medium voltage / high voltage ( MV / HV ) power generation / distribution controls
+ Experience with electrical protection systems
+ Able to work as part of our team as well as being able to deal with clients directly.
+ Failure Mode and Effect Analysis ( FMEA ) and Failure Mode and Critical Effect Analysis ( FMECA )
+ Gap analysis studies ensuring FMEA calculations are fit for purpose
+ FMEA / FMECA methodologies producing DP sea trial processes
+ DP Vessel review and Audit specific to vessel task based operations assessing the risk ensuring the safest mode of operation ( ASOG ) ( FISOG ) ( WISOG )
+ DP vessel upgrades and conversions
+ DP Incident investigations + DP Design reviews and engineering support to technical requirements
Qualifications Required:
+Educated to Degree Level, BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng, PhD or equivalent within a relevant Marine Engineering or Electrical Engineering Discipline, or equivalent experience
+ Some industry experience in designing electrical, power generation, controls, dynamic positioning or protection systems for Marine applications would be desirable
