Salary: £36,000 – £66,000 per year
A world leader in innovative product development is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary development team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with experience with medical devices to contribute to major product development projects from concept to production. In this role as Manufacturing Engineer you will guide the design of medical devices and advise on suitable manufacturing partners, as well as best practice processes. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will also:
• Advise design teams to maintain manufacturability
• Ensure realisation of products
• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems
• Develop manufacturing cost models
• Advising on validation methods
The requirements for this role are:
• Technical background and relevant qualification(s)
• Experience of medical device manufacture
• Good knowledge of manufacturers and suppliers
• Evidence of troubleshooting manufacturing problems
• Experience liaising with suppliers, manufactures and clients
