Job title: Manufacturing Applications Support Engineer

Location: Samlesbury – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements

Salary: £45,326 – £49,834

 

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing First Line application support for manufacturing systems that include Tool Data Management (TDM), Lighthouse Systems (Shopfloor-Online)
  • Interfacing with external teams providing Second/Third line support
  • Performing a level of system/data problem analysis & resolution
  • Coordination of regular service pack updates and change request installations
  • Providing Support and assistance to 3rd parties e.g. DXC and the IM&T project community with service transition activities for projects and the introduction of service changes
  • Service management i.e. monitoring & reporting of annual arrangements

 

Your skills and experiences:

  • Experience of working within a Service Provider environment
  • Previous experience of supporting successful deployment of complex IT solutions and upgrades
  • Ability to work with Service Providers to achieve the best outcomes for the business
  • Working with complex vendor and stakeholder models
  • Qualification in an IT related discipline (Degree / ITIL), or equivalent experience
  • Technical knowledge of Tool Data Management (TDM) is desirable
  • Technical knowledge of Lighthouse Systems (Shopfloor-Online) is desirable
  • Business knowledge of Manufacturing, Fastem’s, and Machine tool cutter pre-set is advantageous

The Manufacturing Systems Competency Centre team:

The successful candidate will join the Manufacturing IT Support team to work closely within the Air sector functions to identify and shape future IT needs. You will be joining a dynamic, high performing team and work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to build strong customer relationships

You will provide First line application support for Manufacturing systems that include Tool Data Management (TDM) and Lighthouse Systems (Shopfloor-Online), as well as, providing day to day support to the manufacturing business areas including manufacturing configuration of key systems, networks and future upgrades to toolsets
