Management Accountant

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

Anderson Knight is recruiting a Management Accountant for a client based in the south side of Glasgow. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will produce accurate management accounts together with key management information.

Our client is ideally searching for a recently qualified accountant and are open on a background in either practice or industry. The organisation has seen tremendous success over recent years and has a turnover in the hundreds of millions. Due to the size of the organisation, there will be chances to progress your career internally.

The main responsibilities the Management Accountant position entails are:

* Preparation of monthly Management and Financial Accounts

* Forecasting and budgetary responsibilities

* Preparation of Balance Sheet control accounts

* Preparation of weekly cash flow forecasts and monthly Finance Pack

* Collation of information for external audit

* Preparation of VAT returns

* Liaison with financial and operational personnel

In order to be considered for the role you must possess the following:

* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA)

* Strong communication skills

* A proactive approach to work

* The ability to solve complex problems

* An outgoing personality

* A driven/motivated individual
