Management Accountant

CY are working in tandem with an established, successful & International manufacturing company who are seeking a qualified and dynamic Management Accountant with strong business partnering skills & experience.

As the new Management Accountant, you will play an integral role helping to facilitate and support the company’s ongoing success and development by utilising your business partnering and communication skills across all departments and sites where necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the Management Accounts across various sites.
• Production of robust forecasts of financial performance, and identifying improvements.
• Support business decision making as a finance business partner
• Manage the process of creating detailed budget and forecasts.
• Detailed analysis of spend/budget variances, identify variances and drive actions to eliminate.
• Working hands on across departments to advise and implement cost saving measures.
• Pro-active management and control of working capital.

EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND

• Qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
• Solid Costing experience to include BOM’s within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent PC skills, especially Microsoft Office.
• Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to work with a diverse team in terms of seniority, function, etc.
• High energy and an ability to demonstrate resilience in achieving goals/targets.
• Attention to detail and an ability to deliver to the highest standard, within rigid timeframes.
• A team player, working from own initiative.
• Responsive and self-motivated.
• Analytical in approach to problem solving.
