Company Details
Our client are a successful and forward thinking Manufacturer based in the Tyne and Wear area. They are a global organisation who are just going through further growth as a business. They are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their experienced team.
Role
You will be required to work as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician on site, duties will involve:-
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on site
• Maintain a range of automated machinery and equipment
• To implement the set up of new machinery, overhauls and new equipment etc including the commissioning and installation of new equipment
• To create and implement a planned preventative maintenance programme which will support the achievement of optimum production figures vs. agreed targets
• PLC Fault Finding
• Hydraulics, Pneumatics
• Project work
• Site facility work
• Train Apprentices
Qualifications / Training
• You must be time served, within a Manufacturing environment
• Multi skilled and ideally a broad range of experience
• Experience working with Lean/ Kaizen Techniques
• Pneumatics, hydraulics,
• An understanding and appreciation of Health and Safety on site

Salary
Circa £30,000
