Maintenance Technician

**ROLE: Maintenance Technician**
**WORKING HOURS:** 48 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts – 4on4off alternate day nights, 0600-1800, 1800-0600
**REMUNERATION:** Up to £44,094.96 plus benefits

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team situated at our Clover Nook Site in Somercotes, Alfreton.

**WHAT OUR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS DO:**

– Conduct maintenance on DC motors and associated drives.
– Perform maintenance on process control equipment.
– Engage in electrical installations and/or mechanical installation work.
– Execute planned and preventative maintenance systems (mechanical and electrical).
– Undertake breakdown maintenance involving fault finding on industrial and process control systems.
– Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs on PVCu extrusion plant and equipment.
– Coordinate with contractors and suppliers.
– Manage the ordering of new/replacement equipment.
– Issue work permits.

**WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS:**

– Completion of a recognized Electrical/Mechanical maintenance apprenticeship/training scheme.
– Substantial experience in Electrical and Mechanical installation and maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
– Ability to understand and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
– Proficiency in the maintenance and repair of PLC systems.
– Possession of a valid driving license.
