Maintenance Manager – 6 month contract – Social Housing

This established social housing provider within the West Midlands, seeks an ambitious and experienced social housing Maintenance Manager who has experience of delivering response maintenance social housing contracts.

The main purpose of the role is to lead a team which consists of Housing Officers, Tenant Liaison Officers, Trades Persons Managers / Site Supervisors, administrative support staff and an in house and subcontracted workforce including multi disciplined trades men.

Key Skills required:
*Ensure the delivery of the project within the budget and time scales specified
*Focuses on quality and customer service and delivery
*Work orders are completed to time, and leading to delivery of contractual key performance indicators
*Ensure framework contracts are maximised
*Assist in the investigation of complaints
*Understanding of legislation in maintenance and property management, having the ability to translate these into working practice
*Good at problem solving and providing effective solutions to the clients and the delivery team
*Motivate a team of delivery personnel
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of property maintenance and refurbishment contracts within the Social Housing Arena.
