Maintenance Manager (47.5 Hours)

£47,400 up to £53,000 per annum (pro rata) – This isn’t day-to-day management. This is inspiring leadership.

Responsible for a huge range of machinery, fixtures and fittings in our Distribution Centre, our highly skilled maintenance team are always on the go. As Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead your team of supervisors, engineers and operatives by example.

You’ll communicate confidently with all kinds of people as you manage on-site contractors, plan schedules and produce reports. Your team will pull out all the stops to keep our equipment, machinery and work spaces in top condition, championing health and safety at all times.

What you’ll do

Manage a team of supervisors, engineers and operatives
Organise service schedules and records for equipment
Sort breakdowns swiftly and efficiently
Manage planned, preventative maintenance schedules
Control costs and manage on-site contractors
Champion good working practices
What you’ll need

C&G levels 1 & 2 or experience in a large maintenance environment
Experience with mechanical equipment
Strong leadership skills to make decisions, inspire and communicate at all levels
Outstanding organisation and confident multi-tasking to prioritise deadlines
Motivation, flexibility and plenty of initiative
