Salary: £46,800 per year

Our client, a leading supplier to the aerospace defence as well as oil and gas industries is looking to recruit an Inspection and Maintenance Manager to cover Europe. The ideal candidate will have experience of hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) which is a high technology process which significantly improves the material properties of parts by densification in very high temperature/pressure vessels. It has application across multiple market sectors, particularly those in demanding operating environments such as Aerospace and Energy.

The Inspection and Maintenance Manager, Europe will be responsible for Coordinating all vessel inspections in Europe, along with managing special projects and troubleshoot equipment.

Main responsibilities:
•Coordinate vessel inspections
•Coordinate plant inspections for insurance purposes
•Train engineers on equipment, including instructing dismantling of equipment for inspections
•Manage special projects related to equipment – control systems upgrades
•Troubleshoot equipment in the absence of Maintenance Techs
•Regularly exposed to heat, dust, noise, humidity, fumes, etc.

§ May be required to work overtime or any shifts, including weekends
•50% travel to multiple locations (occasionally peaking at 75%)

Qualifications, experience and skills:
•City & Guilds in Engineering or equivalent
•HNC Engineering qualification, plus relevant experience
•Welding and machine shop experience
•3-5 years experience in high pressure systems, reading and using blueprints, mechanical, and compressors and vacuum pumps

Knowledge of PLC control systems.

In order to apply for this role which incidentally pays £39 000 per annum the ideal candidate will have:

•HNC Engineering qualification, plus relevant experience
