Job Title: Maintenance Fitter

Location: King’s Lynn

Salary: £26,000 – £28,800per year

Maintenance Fitter

Duties:

To provide Engineering expertise including repair and maintenance to plant and equipment to ensure manufacturing targets are achieved in a cost-effective way.

Hours: Days 08.00hrs – 16.00hrs. Monday – Friday. May be required to work overtime.

Key Tasks:

To carry out repair work to plant and equipment.

To ‘troubleshoot’ plant and equipment to support the Production team.

To report on the condition of plant and equipment

To supervise external contractors

Filling in all documentation accurately and timely.

Follow safe work methods at all times (including Permit to Work)

To assist with Control of utilities to the plant including testing and record keeping.

Would be required to work during the annual plant shutdown, usually late July/early August.

Willing to undertake internal & external training

Qualifications:

Preferably have a recognised mechanical apprenticeship having worked within a manufacturing environment.

Electrical qualifications would be advantageous.
