Maintenance Engineer – Nights

MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (PERMANENT NIGHTS 4 ON 4 OFF, FOOD MANUFACTURING – PRESTON) SALARY CIRCA £30,000 – £33,600DEP ON EXPERIENCE PLUS OVERTIME, COMPANY BENEFITS AND POTENTIAL FOR FUTURE PROGRESSION. GROWING PRODUCERS OF HOUSEHOLD FOOD BRANDS.

The Client

As part of their continued growth one of our clients is presently seeking an additional Maintenance Technician (with mechanical bias) for their growing Preston plant, to be part of the maintenance team. The role we are looking to fill is night shifts four on four off.

The Role

You will be expected to work on a wide variety of equipment carrying out both reactive and planned preventative maintenance ideally from a food/FMCG environment.

You will be expected to fault find mechanically with proven skills in this area. You will possess strong analytical skills with ability to break down and solve complex problems with a logical and structured approach. Night shift work will involve a high level of preventative maintenance and project work to be undertaken outside of production hours.

Skills & Experience Required

Time served Mechanical
Manufacturing experience – ideally FMCG / Food
You will have the ability to work to own initiative and as part of a team with minimal supervision
Hands on individual, good team player
