Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £36,000 – £38,400 per year

We are currently looking to recruit a maintenance engineer for our client based in Staplehurst near Maidstone
In this position you will be working for a well known fruit packer/ distributor
Due to location of the site own transport is essential
In this role you will be working 5 days per week on shifts starting at 7am
Salary offered is £36,000 – £38,400DOE
Responsibilities
* Carry out service maintenance procedures.
* Trouble shoot and provide advice to machine operators.
* Fault find.
* Repair and update machines taking production requirements into consideration.
* Train, in conjunction with the Operational Trainer, production staff on new and existing equipment as required.
* Ensure that all MHE is maintained in line with service requirements specified by the manufacturer and is repaired as required allowing for operational requirements.
* Maintain appropriate engineering/maintenance records to ensure legal compliance
* Maintain glass and plastic check monthly.
* Maintain record of works done and service sheets.
* Responsible in an advisory capacity for use of machinery and potential hazards.
* Responsible for personal safety when working with machinery in the company premises

We are looking for someone with previous experience of working with Flow wrapper, heath sealers and robotics within the fruit industry.
