Maintenance / Electrician Engineer

Our client, a thriving Wolverhampton manufacturing business requires a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Days) for a Permanent contract. It is essential you have relevant experience in a similar role and are electrically qualified to a minimum of 16th Edition.

The successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be a time served apprentice together with relevant academic qualifications, must have fault finding skills, knowledge of inverter and drives, PLC experience, PPM experience and plant maintenance experience.

Responsibilities of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will include; repair and maintain a variety of plant to reduce production downtime due to engineering faults, work closely with Works Engineering Manager to improve plant productivity and efficiency, eensure all engineering related plant and equipment is in a safe condition for operation and maintained using the company planned preventative maintenance programme, all actions must be reported and actioned i.e. closed in the manner shown, ensure all breakdown requests are completed correctly with the correct information and discussed with the Engineering Manager, adhere to the Company Health and Safety policy and to comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all current Health and Safety legislation. You will also be expected to attend appropriate training, as and when requested.

The company offer excellent working conditions, onsite parking along with other benefits of working for a large business. Working hours are Days 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday plus potential overtime.
