Machinist / Grinder

Salary: £15 – £16.8 per hour

Centreless Grinder – Doncaster – Great salary – Days only

Ash Consulting are working with the UK’s premier manufacturer and distributor of high quality plain hard gauging products. They currently have a vacancy for a full time centreless grinder to work within their precision machine shop. You will be required to set and operate a centerless grinder, grinding gauge pins before they are transferred to another machine for finishing.

Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Setting & Operating Centreless grinding machines.

•Lidkoping 2C & Europa Jainnher JHC12S centreless grinder.

•Work in both Steel and Carbide.

•Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

• Work to precision tolerances and use measuring equipment.

• Work to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

Required Expertise:

• Experience setting & operating as a grinder

• Excellent attitude to work and producing high-quality parts

• Experience of working within a collaborative team

• Excellent attention to detail, methodical & logical

•Paid Hourly: £15 – £16.8 based on experience.

•Doncaster

•Hours: Mon-Thurs: 8am-4.30pm, Fri 8am-1.15pm. Total 37.25 hours.
