Machine Operative

Salary: £26,000 per year

Our client is a major force in manufacturing and these positions are a rare opportunity to join due to growth. The company is award winning, known for innovative products, developing items for huge brands in engineering, construction, automotive and more essential industries. They require a production operative to run packaging machinery within theit state of the art facility near Selby/Leeds/Pontefract/York.

07:00 – 14:30 – Mon – Fri

Salary including shift premium:

£18,646.67

The salary and benefits package includes both annual and individual bonus schemes, overtime at premium rates, pension contributions, additional annual leave and outstanding working conditions with PPE, parking and onsite facitlities for refreshments and wellbeing.

You will have experience ideally within a manufacturing environment, warehouse based or similar.

Responsibilities will include:

* To ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled at all times.

* To prepare goods to fulfil customer orders in accordance with specified requirements and timescales

* To undertake the safe and efficient operation of automated packaging equipment involved in the manufacture of products

* To effectively process high quality components on designated equipment

* To carry out visual inspection to ensure products are packaged to the required quality standard or customer requirement.

* To fulfil customer requirements by achieving Company production targets

* To assist in the assessment of efficiency by accurately recording production data.

* Confirm production orders using SAP system.

* To adhere to company procedures and policies – ISO9000.

You will have:

Experience of working in a production/manufacturing environment

Machine operation/operative experience

of SAP or similar packages

Experience using auto packaging machinery in a production environment

Good colour vision
