Logistics Support Administrator
Basic salary £26,400 – £27,840+ bonus + benefits
Based in Chesterfield
Due to continued success, our client is looking for a Logistics Support Administrator to join their growing business based in Markham Vale. Supporting the goods in and out function from an administration and systems point of view, you’ll be working in a really modern warehousing and distribution facility in a fantastic team.
The Role
- Ensuring control procedures are followed for all incoming and outgoing vehicles, including dock door management, directing drivers to relevant bays, instructing them on site procedures
- Completion of all Goods In/Out relevant paperwork and ensure drivers leave site with the necessary paperwork correctly completed
- Manage delivery documents ensuring they are filed daily and shared with the team
- Liaise with Customer Care team in matters relating to customer orders and the dispatch of goods
- Ensure accurate records are maintained and any issues communicated appropriately
- You’ll be working across 2 shifts, 5.30am – 2pm and 2pm – 10.30pm on a fortnightly rotation basis
The Person:
- Experience working within a warehouse/ logistics environment is needed
- We’re also looking for excellent administrative skills and telephone manner
- You’ll be computer literate with competency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) but ideally also have some experience with SAP or a similar ERP system
- Excellent planning and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work
- Extremely well organised with focus on customer service

- A basic salary up to £26,400 – £27,840is offered
