Logistics Operatives

Logistics Operatives are required to work in all areas of the warehouse. The main purpose of the role is to pick, despatch, scan and deliver goods in a professional and timely manner.

You will be working closely with a team comprising: Logistics Operatives and Operations Supervisor.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
*Delivery
*Picking and packing
*Housekeeping
*Health & Safety/ Environmental/ Quality
*Carry out miscellaneous duties

DELIVERY
*Deliver goods to several sites
*Deliver bulk goods to customer site

PICKING AND PACKING

*Pick goods for order and transfers
*Pack goods in boxes where appropriate
*Locate goods in appropriate despatch area
*Deal with carriers as appropriate

HOUSEKEEPING

*Keep warehouse in tidy condition
*All goods in correct bin tidy and checked daily

HEALTH & SAFETY/ENVIRONMENTAL/QUALITY

*Comply with Health & Safety legislation, procedures and processes
*Comply with Environmental Management System
*Comply with Quality Management System
*Report all incidents, complaints, accidents and near misses
*Improvements of HSEQ through business improvement request forms

CARRY OUT MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES

*Collect goods as advised
*Attend team meetings
*Carry out stocktaking duties as required
*Project good company image at all times
*Comply with health and safety policy/procedures
*Carry out any other duties as requested by management
*Handle any customer queries

Experience not necessary as full training will be provided.

Only candidates with a Full Drivers Licence will be considered.
