  • Base salary to £48,000with benefits and bonus schemes

Job Purpose (Role Definition):

Leading logistics operations and warehouse management initiatives, including inbound and outbound supply of goods, inventory stockholding, and lineside feed.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Efficient planning of warehouse activities in line with immediate sale requirements, sales forecast, product availability and production capacity

Ensure materials are delivered to and from production efficiently and cost effectively in support of planned volumes

Establish & maintain operating KPIs, SLAs, and performance reporting for warehouse inventory, distribution, and lineside feed

Monitor warehouse performance in line with KPIs, applying appropriate mitigation and preventative actions

Management of inbound deliveries

Stock checking inventory, ensuring that any discrepancies are investigated, and corrective actions are communicated

Plan future capacity requirements, working closely with counterparts in Supply Planning & Sales

Inventory management: supporting stock run in/out of new materials, working with counterparts in Engineering & Supply Planning to ensure no obsolescence

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications Required

Mandatory

  • Minimum 2 years’ logistics or warehouse & inventory management

Desirable

  • Healthcare or medical device background

Key Skills and Competencies

Strategic thinker, seeking to identify opportunities for improvement

Team player, with experience working across multiple stakeholders

Excellent verbal & written communication

Excellent interpersonal skills, ensuring cross-functional alignment of strategies

Competent working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint etc.)

Self-motivated, results focused

Forklift license
