Job Title: Logistics Manager
Location: Haverhill, Suffolk
Salary: £negotiable DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 17.00pm
Contract Type: Full time / Permanent
Sector: Manufacturing & Logistics
Our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join their team and help streamline their business.
As Logistics Manager your duties will include:
* Managing day to day running of the logistics function
* Purchasing & production planning
* Forecasting and monitoring inventory levels
* Ensuring goods are stored safely & securely
* Mentoring warehouse team, offering training and support where required
* Keeping H&S documents up to date
* Managing timesheets on a weekly basis.
An ideal candidate for the Logistics Manager will have:
* Previous experience within logistics/production
* ERP experience
* Strong planning skills with the ability to prioritise workload
* Previous leadership experience
* Strong IT skills
* Excellent communication skills, verbal & written.
