Salary: £28,800 – £32,400 per year
Logistics Coordinator required. Streamline Search are currently working with a European distributor of electrical components seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a dynamic and growing team. It is anticipated the Logistics Coordinator will be based within a commutable distance of Towcester with previous experience within export operations.
Our client provides expert services to the electrical components industry. You will be responsible for liaising between the Sales and Stock control teams, provide efficient and clear shipping information and provide advice on any potential delays.
Logistics Coordinator – Position Overview
- Exporting of orders in the stock/accounting system
- Liaising with internal sales and stock control teams to ensure customer orders are despatched from third party warehousing on time.
- Ensuring sales invoices are processed, checked, and sent out to customers.
- Liaising with third party warehouses and transport companies to ensure customer orders are delivered in full, on time, and according to customer special loading requirements.
Logistics Coordinator – Position Requirements
- Previous experience in an Export Operations role
- Knowledge of export perishables is highly beneficial.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Excellent communication skills – both written and spoken
- Living within a commutable distance of Towcester
- Sage Accounting or similar – Desirable
Logistics Coordinator – Position Remuneration
- Salary £28,800 – £32,400(Dependent on experience)
- Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00
- 20 Days annual leave + bank holidays
- Pension scheme
- Parking on site
