Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator

Cubed Resourcing have an exciting new opportunity within our client, a leading manufacturer who are preparing for major growth in line with the business`s plans and ambitions. To support the growth, a key appointment within logistics is vital to the plans success.

The Role:

– Manage supply chain: deliveries of materials to site for JIT manufacture. Liaising with production to ensure material arrives correctly and on time.
– Internal logistics: Manage the internal movement of stock around site, managing stock levels, efficiency, health and safety and best practice.
– Assisting with the Planning and organising of deliveries of finished units to customer sites using sub contracted logistics.
– Managing the return of equipment to site, for inventory and planning purposes.
– Understand problems, initiate long term structured improvement projects and ensure their timely delivery.
– Review discrepancies and drive continuous improvement.

The person we`re looking for:

You will have served in business to bring your skills, intelligence, drive and creativity to bear in industry with the results to show for it.

This may suit a recent Graduate with a degree in an Engineering/ Manufacturing / Supply chain discipline with working experience in business

OR

An experienced individual with a substantial track record in a similar role within Logistics and supply chain (manufacturing).

– Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques would be an advantage
– Ability to make rational decisions while under pressure
– Project Management experience
