Logistics Administrator

Charles Trent is seeking to recruit a Logistics Administrator to join us in Poole. The successful applicant will receive c£26,000 per year.

We currently require a Logistics Administrator to ensure that agreed client and company SLA’s are achieved in vehicle collections, maintain accurate and current data within our internal systems and consistently deliver a quality service and meet customer needs and expectations.

Logistics Administrator Key Responsibilities:

– Handle calls in a prompt and professional manner

– Provide excellent customer service at all times

– Liaise with drivers, depots, customers and other areas of the business as required

– Ensure that all data is up to date and accurate

– Work to agreed key performance and productivity methods

– Maintain clear and effective lines of communication with the rest of the business to the advantage of both internal and external customers

– Proactively investigate solutions to customer queries

– Provide accurate and helpful advice at all times

– Assist with other duties as directed by the Team Manager/Transport Planner

Logistics Administrator Experience & Skills:

– Excellent communication skills and listening skills

– Good telephone manner

– Computer literate with good knowledge of Excel and Word to Intermediate level

– Good accuracy and attention to detail

– Ability to work under own initiative to team targets

– Good numeracy skills

– Previous experience in a customer facing environment

– Team player

This role requires a person with excellent communication skills as they will be dealing with customers predominantly via the telephone. Those customers will mainly consist of members of the public, insurance groups and other internal staff at all levels.

In return for your commitment the successful Logistics Administrator will receive c£26,000 per year.
