Live in Care Assistant

A Live In Care Assistant for Strand Nursing enjoys working in rewarding and challenging placements while benefiting from excellent payrates and ongoing training and development.

We have a client in the Selling area, a gentleman who lives at home with his wife, in a large manor house situated in the beautiful Kent countryside. He has a history of cardiac difficulties and has recently suffered a stroke. He is now incontinent and is catheterised. He requires a hoist for transfers and has the assistance of 2 care staff at all times. He is now reliant on his care staff for all elements of his daily care.

As Live In Care Assistant for this client you will be required to work alongside a Nurse to provide the highest quality of care. You will be skilled in:

* Working with the elderly
* Supporting stroke victims
* Management of reduced mobility
* Support with daily living, including personal care and catheter care

You will have excellent communication skills and be keen to empower and promote our client’s choice and preferred daily activities. You may be required at times to support with household tasks.

In addition to excellent payrates of £900 – £1,056per week you can benefit from a stable care package in a stunning location. You will be provided with comfortable accommodation.
