Live Events Venue Manager (5* Hotel)

In this role you will be responsible for the overall management of audio visual and production services with an emphasis on digital cinema knowledge within one of Londons’ 5* hotel destinations. You will act as primary liaison with the venue and their clients to provide technical solutions that you will manage from initial client contact through to event delivery. You will drive the profitability of the operation by increasing sales and managing associated costs as well as supporting local marketing and sales developments within the region.

Responsibilities

• Direct day to day floor operations including setting, striking and operation of AV equipment for venue customers in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures whilst at all times portraying a polished and professional image.
• Manage one of the London newest digital screening rooms with high definition projection system.
• Supervise security, inventory control, transportation and maintenance of AV equipment.
• Account Management.
• Provide outstanding customer service to clients by establishing excellent working relationships with venue staff and executives, client representatives and company team members.
• Proactively approach end clients to build an ongoing client relationship.
• Manage an efficient and profitable delivery of AV equipment rental in accordance with our Standard
Operating Procedures.
• Revenue maximization and cost control.
• Accurate and punctual creation of management and financial reports.
• Maintain a positive attitude and working environment for all team members.
• Manage performance, address employee concerns, maintain adequate staffing levels, and facilitate team development.
• Lead by example in portraying a polished, professional image.

Candidate Profile

• All round AV technical experience as well as experience with digital cinema systems. Doremi knowledge is advantageous.
• Three or more years of audio visual technical experience, including at least one year of previous supervisory experience.
• AV hospitality based experience
• Excellent experience of customer service practices, preferably in the hospitality industry and willingness to provide exceptional customer service.
• Advanced sales proficiency.
• Effective leadership abilities, excellent communication skills and positive teamwork ethic.
