Linux Systems Administrator / DevOps Processes

Summary:

Reqiva are working with a Cambridge based software company, who are looking for a Linux Systems Administrator to take on DevOps engineer responsibilities for their growing team, this is a varied role encompassing core systems administrator responsibilities, general IT functions and the progression of the company’s DevOps capabilities.

Role and Responsibilities:

*Integration of company products and solutions into customer systems.
*Automation of a number of processes including deployment and monitoring.
*Play a key role in the design and implementation of system architectures that scale as processing and storage requirements grow.
*Implementation of configuration management solutions
*Stay up to date with emerging technologies and tools that can aid in the productivity of the company’s systems and environment.

Skills and Experience:

*A broad experience of both development and systems administration
*Solid programming and scripting skills, ideally in Python, JavaScript and HTML/CSS3
*Experience with RESTful web service APIs
*Familiarity with RedHat Linux Operating System and some Windows Server knowledge
*Configuration management experience (Ansible, Puppet)

Salary: £48,000 – £54,000
