Overview
The Business Analyst will work closely with the business to provide high quality business analysis and requirements for organisational change, projects and enhancements in order to support Project Managers in the delivery of high-quality project outcomes.
The Business Analyst will lead workshops with the business teams to define the Target Operating Model, (including documenting process flows/procedures, defining roles and responsibilities and reviewing residual risks/controls) and document business requirements for any tech changes that are required as part of the Corporate Markets EMEA Data Privacy Programme.
The role is based on a hybrid basis from our city centre office in Leeds, so whilst you won’t need to be in every day, you will need to be within a commutable distance.What you’ll be doing:
•    Directing analysis and discussions to elicit targeted business requirements that are fit for purpose
•    Preparing comprehensive business requirements documents that meet the needs of business stakeholders and achieve operational best practice
•    Reviewing and dissecting ‘As Is’ process and establishing the necessary changes required to ensure optimal ‘To Be’ processes are defined
•    Defining and managing the plan to ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timescales and are in accordance with agreed client specifications
•    Diligently following-up on any outstanding issues with business users and IT developers to ensure that projects and change initiatives are closed out promptly
•    Actively support Technical Analysts in the completion of technical specifications and participate in solution design
•    Supporting all stages of testing to ensure that the implemented solution reflects all the agreed requirements and supports defect management, including any change requests that may emerge
•    Providing input into the development of training needs, procedures and business readiness plans to ensure smooth implementation
•    Manage post-implementation support in conjunction with the Project Manager to minimise disruption to the business
•    Reviewing team working practices and procedures to identify opportunities to improve quality and productivity
•    Driving business improvements through visibility of ongoing quality issues and initiatives

What we’re looking for:
•    2 years’ Business Analysis experience, preferably in a Financial Services organisation
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders
•    Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with strong organisation and planning skills
•    A good working knowledge of GDPR and data privacy would be advantageous
•    Thorough knowledge of best practice, administration processes and procedures is desirable, as is an in-depth knowledge of client and regulatory requirements and operational frameworks
