What will the job involve?
The Lighting assistant involves making neon signs and requires the ability to solder electrical parts of a strip lights. All training will be given.
The Lighting Assistants responsibilities will include:
- Producing Signs using neon strip lights
- Ensuring the signs are perfect before dispatch
- Working with a soldering Iron (Training will be provided)
- Working from a job sheet where all parts required will be provided
- Working towards a performance based target with a bonus scheme
- Test signs and make sure they are perfect for our clients
Skills required
- Working with a soldering iron
- Able to work to strict deadlines
- Basic organisational skills.
- Basic understanding of electrical devices.
- Being able to complete some routine and non routine tasks in a warehouse environment.
- Be able to plan and organise both familiar and new tasks.
- Able to use a problem solving approach to respond appropriately to a wide range of enquiries.
- Able to work as a team and independently.
