LGV2 / Hgv2 Refuse Drivers (Part-Time)

LGV2, HGV2, Class 2 Refuse Driving (Part Time) – Ilkeston

Kenect Drivers are currently recruiting for new or experienced LGV2, HGV2, Class 2 Refuse drivers for Part Time temporary driving work with an Ilkeston based council.

Part time meaning 2-3 shifts per week between Monday and Friday.

As an LGV2 Refuse driver, the work will involve:

– Local collections of Black, Brown and Blue wheelie bins
– Domestic and commercial refuse and recycling waste
– Covering a 10-15 mile radius of Ilkeston
– Working with a team of 2 loaders who to the physical side of the work
– Part time (2-3 shifts per week)
– 5 day weeks will be available on occasions (if desired)
– 06.30 starts until 14.30 finish between Monday – Friday
– Overtime available on Bank Holidays (double time)

The Salary: s for the roll of the LGV2 Refuse driver are:

Salary: s:

LGV2 Refuse Driver (Monday – Friday) = £26,000 per year
LGV2 Refuse Driver (Bank Holidays) = £26,000 per year

Essential Requirements:

– Be a good team player
– Polite to the public
– Confident to driver refuse vehicles including reversing (Banksmen provided)
– Be able to manoeuvre in tight areas
– Have a valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
– Previous refuse experience preferred but not essential
