Kenect Drivers are currently recruiting for experienced LGV1, HGV1, Class 1 drivers for ongoing, long term driving work with our Hinckley based client – (An international parcel company, LE10 3BQ)

The contract is operational 24/7 therefor we have shifts available to suit your preference including day or night shifts. Weekend shifts are also available with additional overtime premiums paid.

This work shall continue into January 2016 and throughout next year. Regular Temp-Perm positions also available for the right candidates.

Day Runs:

– Start times are usually between 08.00-15.00 (Monday to Sunday)
– Local and National bulk collections
– Between 1-3 bulk collections per shift from NDC & RDC’s
– Box trailers
– No handball involved
– Average shift lengths are approx. 10 hours
– No nights out involved

Night Runs:

– Start times are usually between 18.00-02.00 (Monday to Sunday)
– National inter-depot trunking deliveries
– Between 1-2 depot-depot deliveries per shift
– Box trailers
– No handball involved
– Average shift lengths are approx. 10 hours

The pay rates for the roll of the LGV1 drivers are:

Pay Rates:

– LGV1 (Mon-Fri) Day runs = £14.58 p/h increasing to £16.50 p/h after 8 hours per shift

– LGV1 (Mon-Fri) Night runs = £14.00 p/h increasing to £18.00 p/h after 8 hours per shift

– LGV1 (Weekend) Day runs = £15.75 p/h increasing to £18.75 p/h after 8 hours per shift

– LGV1 (Weekend) Night runs = £18.00 p/h increasing to £21.00 p/h after 8 hours per shift

– You will be ‘guaranteed’ a ‘minimum’ of 8 hours per shift.

All drivers shall need to have a minimum of 12 months LGV1 experience and required attend a 90 minute site induction prior to starting.
