HGV Class 1 Driver Tramp

Salary: £186 per hour

HGV Class 1 Tramper – York

Logical Personnel Solutions URGENTLY require HGV Class 1 Trampers to work out of a busy depot based in York.

Duties will include: Working different shift patterns to suit yourself from Monday to Sunday on a weekly basis depending on your preferences / driving hours. Contract work for Amazon. Start times are usually from 06.00am daily but some weeks you may be required to be flexible and start on a later shift such as a 13.00PM start.

Driving MANN wagons that are all between 2017-2022 plates so all new decent kit! All wagons have fridges, but they don’t have microwaves but Anderson Lead available for your own microwave should you wish to bring one. Roughly working 40-60 hours per week max. Shift length is usually between 8-10 hours – the occasional 12 hour shift may be required upon rare occasion. 

You will also keep the same wagon and be able to leave your belongings in the wagon for your following shift pattern! Work available all year round January to December!

And you can also stay in the wagon onsite during your rest period should this be easier for yourself depending where you are travelling to/from! SNAP accounts also available for parking but other depots also available throughout the region for you to night out at which have wash room facilities, showers, full kitchen available and washer machine!

Pay rates for this position are:

£186per shift – UMBRELLA

£125 per shift – PAYE or £140 per shift with holiday pay included

£25 per night out

Drivers must have full class 1 licence and have held your licence for 2 years, drivers DIGI card and CPC qualification. Recent relevant experience is also beneficial for this role.
