Supply Chain Manager

Reporting into the VP Operations for operational activity with process and governance from Supply Chain Manager UK (Edinburgh). Main duties will be to ensure that any non commercial issues relating to production part material supply are managed to ensure material is delivered iaw MRP need date minimising the impact to Sales output. To achieve this, you will coordinate and manage multi Function involvement best suited to solving the problem(s) at hand, ensuring responsibility and accountability is understood and ensuring and all output related actions are clear in terms of action and ownership and are time bound. Other key responsibilities will be providing the necessary reporting into the VP Operations and Supply Chain Manager UK, attending key Project meetings relating to your designated Site and ensuring the associated KPI metrics of the role are managed and reported. Although Custom Working will relate to this role, it is envisaged the role will require a minimum of 3 days onsite attendance.

Understand the open order book management status of your designated Site managed by the SC Acquisition Team.
Attend any regular meetings / calls with Suppliers to ensure complex / subcontract related PO’s are micro managed, especially at sub tier material ordering phase.
Liaise with IPT to understand Project milestones that need to be achieved that relate to material supply.
Ensure compliance with Law 262 Free Issue and produce mandated reporting.
Liaise with MPM’s on data integrity, ensuring Material Master accurately reflects SC ownership of production parts.
Support the SC Acquisition Team in the management of Site RTV (excluding WSP’s).
Ensure team address the clearance of Supplier invoicing issues in a timely manner.
Provide reporting for revenue forecasting purposes.
Ensure that Procurement are made aware of any commercial / contracting implications associated with material supply issues.
Develop appropriate relationships and act as the Interface with SC Acquisition Buyer and LOB IPT’s to understand material issues and ensure closure is in line with MRP requirements
Monitor Supplier / Project Joint Action Plans (JAP’s) and ensure these are discussed at all IPT Supply Reviews so that actions are allocated, understand and time bound. Produce appropriate reporting metrics.
Understand the SC reporting tools (3SR, CSR & Revenue Forecasting).
Present 30-60-90 day report at LOB Supply Review for SC owned material.
Be aware of any Procurement owned Supplier CSIP’s that may impact material supply.
Promote a culture of Best Practice in Material Supply sharing knowledge within the function and within the wider business
Support management of obsolete material and proposed LTB’s to ensure seamless material supply transition in line with MRP requirements.
Support LOB Supplier RBR’s where necessary.
Support the MRB/FRB process, ensuring all external material supply information is flowed and is a conduit into execution team and JAP’s (where relevant).
