Supply Chain Manager

Salary: £60,000 – £66,000 per year

Pineapple Careers are proud to be partnering with a well-known organisation based in the Guildford area who are looking to recruit an Supply Chain Manager on a full time Permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Organise the safe and efficient storage and distribution of goods
* Lead the supply chain team in executing best practises and measuring performance
* Managing the supply chain to balance the conflicting requirements of availability, cost and cash invested in inventory
* Plan, manages and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and suppliers needed to meet the changing levels of product demand
* Ensure suppliers orders are produced to cost, design, quality controls and delivered on time
* Work directly with the sales department to determine most cost effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers
* Ensuring constant supply of material to allow work flow smoothly through the factory
* Work with the sales team on scheduling of production of stock and bespoke projects to ensure timely deliveries
* Coordinate with the factory to ensure orders are assembled efficiently
* Analyse costs to ensure profit margins are maintained
* Keep the system up to date with stock control and process requirements
Key Skills:
* Be an expert in Supply Chain Management with extensive knowledge of end to end supply chain processes
* Analytical mindset with leadership / management experience
* Experience with a task management systems
* S&OP process implementation would be advantageous
* Build & maintain rapport with suppliers

* Excellent written & verbal communication skills
* Confident with all aspects of Microsoft Office
Salary & Benefits:
* £50,000 – £55,000
