The client:

They are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their Gloucester based team on a permanent basis, with the core responsibility being leading and coaching a team of Business Operations Specialists. The European Business Operations Team, being part of a larger global team, is building an integrated, agile, end-to-end, global supply chain capability that is world-class and creates a competitive advantage for INVISTA.
Key responsibilities:
* The primary responsibility of this role is to provide Leadership to your team of Supply Chain Analysts; and Customer Service and Logistics Specialists. This will include developing capability; providing learning opportunities by coaching; and leveraging individual team member’s capabilities where they can create the most value.
* Transformation of Supply Chain processes including counterparties (customers and third parties) experience will be key in achieving the Supply Chain vision.
* Driving continuous improvement in all Supply Chain processes
* Using transformation strategies to identify and capture unmet customer needs, thus creating mutual benefit for INVISTA and its counterparties.
* Pro-actively mentor the team on economic and critical thinking, Point of View development, appropriate risk taking and trading mentality.
* Together with your team, you will develop knowledge networks across the organisation and externally and strive for end-to-end integration in Supply Chain capability.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Strong communication skills.
* Presentation skills, combined with the ability to articulate your point of view (including recommendations and challenges) to a wider group of stakeholders.
* Bachelor’s degree.
* Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo.
* Experience in a leadership role or exposure to Supply Chain, Logistics or Planning.
