Construction (Plastering) Assessor

e’re looking for a talented plastering / construction Assessor who can take on a Swansea-based caseload of 25-30 learners. You’ll need to be occupationally competent in the construction trades and have 12 month’s assessing experience. In return? Construction (Plastering) Assessor: The essentials.

* Assessor qualification (A1, D32, TAQA)
* Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes
* Full UK driving licence and use of own car
* Qualification/experience in delivering Plastering frameworks up to level 3

Construction (Plastering) Assessor: Your experience.

* Occupational history and competence within the industry
* Minimum 12 months assessing experience
* Experience in a similar role
* A proven track record of meeting / exceeding targets

Construction (Plastering) Assessor: The desirables.

* V1 Internal Verification Award (or equivalent D34/TAQA)
* Other relevant Construction experience/qualifications

Construction (Plastering) Assessor: The role.

* To deliver Construction qualifications (predominantly Plastering) up to level 3 to a caseload of 25-30 learners at a high-tech training facility in Swansea
* To assist in the review and progress of apprentices/trainees, and maintain appropriate learner records
* To liaise with the Centre Manager to co-ordinate the delivery and completion of all parts of the qualification framework including Functional Skills and Technical Certificates
* To undertake Health & Safety checks in the workplace
* Starting salary between £27,600 – £30,000(depending on experience and qualifications)
