Lecturer in Mechanical & Process Engineering

This current vacancy is for one of our clients who is an OFSTED Grade 1 training provider based in West Cumbria. They provide a diverse range of employer-led training, including engineering apprenticeships, degree courses and postgraduate programmes..

Due to an expanding training business they are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Mechanical & Process Engineering.

Duties: The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, project supervision, and curriculum development in the field of mechanical engineering, including statics & dynamics, thermo-fluid mechanics, energy and electro-mechanical principles. Teaching duties will extend to BEng Hons.

Qualifications: Essential: A minimum of BEng Hons at Class 2.1 or an equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering or science discipline. Desirable: A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline; CertEd or equivalent.

Experience: Desirable: Experience in the application of mechanical & process engineering in an industrial, research or academic environment.
