Tradewind are recruiting! Are you the Learning Support Assistant we are looking for?

We are currently on the lookout for a number of Learning Support Assistant’s to facilitate and support the learning of students with Special Educational Needs in our Warrington Primary Schools. We have roles available immediately, accommodating for candidates looking for full-time, part-time and day-to-day work.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working either one-to-one or in small groups with students diagnosed with Special Educational Needs or Social, Emotional Mental Health. The successful candidate will be working in vibrant, inclusive schools that celebrate and promotes equality. These schools are looking for Learning Support Assistant’s who can encourage academic success as well as developing the characteristics and qualities to allow the students in becoming active members of society.

The successful candidate will be:

• Resilient and positive, showing initiative and flexibility;
• Be able to work as part of a team under the direction of the class teacher;
• Confident with supporting children with additional needs;
• Firm, consistent and fun;
• Approachable, patient and understanding;

Desirable:

• Experience working with SEMH needs;
• Experience working with challenging behaviour;

To be considered you must:

• Hold or willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS, Overseas police check (if applicable) and satisfactory references
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
