They are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Coach & Resources Assistant.

The purpose of this role is to assist in the day-to-day running of the Learning Resource Centre and to provide guidance and support to students on an individual or group basis to become independent and expert learners, ensuring a quality service is provided to all staff, learners and visitors.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you possess a relevant qualification to minimum of Level 3 (A Level or equivalent) coupled with Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy. You should also hold a relevant qualification at Level 4 or above along with a teaching qualification (or a willingness to work towards).

With experience of effective team working and promoting effective relationships between staff, students and the community, you will have experience of providing support to students/staff. Knowledge and a keen interest in Learning Technologies is also important.

Although not essential, experience of working within a learning environment would be an advantage and experience of using e-learning applications would be beneficial.
