Salary: £26,000 – £38,980.5 per year

We are delighted to be assisting a provider of adult education in recruiting a learner/ employer engagement officer for their offices in Swinton, Manchester.

As an enagement officer, you will identify and support learners into appropriate programmes through attending events, job fairs, community centres and building relationships with JCP’s. The successful applicant will provider effective Information, Advice and Guidance to learners and support them as required. You will enthuse and motivate people to progress towards sustainable employment whilst supporting on projects when required to do so,.

Main job tasks and responsibilities:

Leaner engagement

– Build relationships with external organisations to ensure a continued referral source

– Source suitable employment/placement opportunities for learners

– Engage customers on to programmes through CRM contact, job events, JCP Marketing and other marketing techniques as requested

– To ensure that all activities are planned and delivered effectively enabling all learners to fulfil their potential

– Establish and maintain effective lines of communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of all processes

– Attend appropriate events to promote the business and engage with potential learners

– Inform line manager of identified outreach locations suitable for programme delivery

Administration

-To support in ensuring all learner paperwork is completed and returned to the

– Update CRM with leads, opportunities and all contact

Learner tracking

– Undertake weekly tracking calls of those learners who have completed a programme in the last 13 weeks.

– Ensure any learner identified as being in employment, education or an apprenticeship is recorded

General

– To carry out any additional duties as reasonably requested by line manager

– To ensure adherence to Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities and Code of Conduct policies and that all learners are given fair access to opportunities

– Work flexibly to meet the needs of the business (this may include evenings or weekends)

– Participate in all CPD activities
