Lead Mechanical Engineer – Small Works

Salary: £26,000 per year

Due to business growth, we are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to work for a leading Facilities Management company on a static site near Westminster, Central London. This is a permanent role as part of the small works team carrying out a range of new install works on site 

You will be required to carry out a range of small work install tasks on a day to day basis throughout the site including plumbing and HVAC works. The successful candidate will have previous experience in Mechanical installations within commercial environments.

Candidates must be time served and qualified in a mechanical discipline.

Hours – Mon – Friday 7.30AM – 4.30PM 

OT is paid at premium rates at 40 hour – Realistic Earning potential £6,000 – £12,000

Candidates must be able to obtain an enhanced security check to secure this role so a clean criminal record is a must

Responsibilities

– Carry out Installation, test, servicing, diagnostic and repairs on mechanical installations

– Work safely and in accordance to Health and Safety procedures

– Perform Installation tasks and other associated tasks on any part of the site as and when required

– Operate as part of an effective professional maintenance team

Skills & Attributes

– Time Served Engineer with demonstrable experience in a Mechanical install/ maintenance role.

– City and Guilds, BTEC, NVQ equivalent qualifications

– Experience preferably in a similar Facilities Management / Building Services back ground

– Trustworthy and reliable

– Able to obtain enhanced security clearance
