Salary: £66,000 – £72,000 per year

Are you the Circuit/Harness Engineer to lead a team for our client?

Do you have the capability to design and construct circuit diagrams in-line with customer requirements?

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the Integration team
  • Co-ordinate the team to ensure each engineer is aware of their project deliverables and motivate them to deliver quality results to tight deadlines
  • Project responsibility for harnesses and sub-components.
  • Deliver an accurate and robust design for allocated harness
  • Working with the CAD Engineer to deliver the Electrical Enclosures
  • Design using DFMEA principles to ensure robust design, maintaining specific harness DMFEA and Enclosures
  • Manage and resolve engineering issues in a timely manner using our issue management system.
  • Ensure accurate translation of design into 2D prints
  • Take Responsibility to ensure harness design meets requirements and specifications
  • Deliver a cost & weight efficient design
  • Develop and maintain circuit diagrams and Harness drawings using Arcadia software

Requirements

  • University degree in electrical, mechanical, or automotive engineering, or equivalent experience
  • of working with, or design of, vehicle electrical systems
  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical/electronic system function and diagnostics
  • Understanding of EDS design and development process
  • Electrical harness engineering background
  • Application of electrical theory
  • Experience of Arcadia ECAD tool (preferred)
  • Understanding of ECAD tools such as Mentor CHS (Logical and XC)
  • Microsoft office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Projects
  • Effective time management
  • Able to lead both from technical and line management perspective
  • Self-sufficient and self-motivated
  • Ability to work and communicate at all levels
  • Fluent in English
  • Right to work in the UK – Valid Passport
