Are you a skilled user of AutoCAD or other 2D CAD software?

Are you looking for structured training to develop your engineering skills and learn how program complex laser cutting machines?

On offer is the opportunity begin a training scheme where you will learn how to program Lantec and Trumpf Laser cutting machines. Once the training is completed you will enable you to program flatbed, tube and 5 axis laser CNC cutting machines for a variety of components.

This well-established company have been in operation since 1979. They are specialist in material cutting and have recently undergone an expansion programme financed through a £1M investment.

In the role you will receive training to transfer your 2D CAD skills into programming for laser CNC cutting machines. Once fully operational in the role you will be expected to produce laser cutting programs offline and from scratch as well as adjust several existing ones with a 50%/50% split between the two. The role is a very varied role where a large portion of the work will be for bespoke requests. If you do not have experience on Lantec or Trumpf software you will be trained on this programming software.

This role would ideally suit experience 2D CAD Engineer looking to expand their skillset and become an expert in laser CNC Programming
