Here at Staff for Education, we are currently working in partnership with Vision West Nottinghamshire College and we are recruiting for motivated and inspiring candidates in the Mansfield area that are looking to kick-start their career in education by completing a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.
Your role as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice will involve working closely alongside the class teacher to support and enhance pupils learning both individually and in small groups, ensuring that the pupils understand the work that has been set and their learning objectives. Other duties may include:
• Providing general classroom support with pupils aged 4-11 years
• Supporting the teacher with activities in the classroom
• Assist the teacher in planning activities
• Setting up for class activities and clearing away at the end of the day
• Assess, record and report on pupils progress
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to build your experience working within a school environment with full training provided and day release to college. The apprenticeship will offer a friendly and dedicated service working towards a Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification with the possibility of a permanent role upon completion.

In order to be considered for the role, you must:
• Be aged 16+
• Hold GCSE’s at grades A*-C /9-4 or equivalent in Maths and English
• Enhanced DBS is required to work in a school (will be applied for if successful)
