Job Description
Barley Lane School is a vibrant special school, supporting pupils from Year 3 to Year 11 with a range of complex needs, including SEMH.
We are looking to recruit a Kitchen Manager to commence employment as soon as possible in the busy school kitchen, working up to 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum. You will be required to transform the current kitchen practises with innovative, forward-thinking ideas. You will be working as part of a small team to oversee in the preparation of food and the service of food and drinks to staff and pupils within the school. You will also maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, dining room and food service areas. You will need to flexible, able to work under pressure and sometimes in a challenging environment. You will be required to attend training when required or as appropriate.
