Junior Systems Administrator

Salary: £26,000 per year

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Junior Systems Administrator to join the team at a well established software company in Swindon. This is for a permanent, full time role with an immediate start. The candidate will be providing onsite and offsite IT support to employees and possibly visiting customers.
Hours: 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday
Salary Range: £26,000
The key responsibilities are:
* Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, Fault finding and repairing if possible, sourcing and providing replacement parts if required.
* Setting up new computers and equipment, ensuring all relevant software and settings have been correctly applied/installed.
* Jira Server administration- troubleshooting and support for users. Developing or sourcing Improvements if required
* VPN support
* Maintain Avaya telephone PBX switch and associated ISDN lines, arranging support with vendor if required
* DNS and firewall configuration
* Silvershield SFTP ongoing configuration and support
* Internal and Azure active directory configuration and maintenance
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who has finished an apprenticeship and is looking for a first role where they can develop their skills within a supportive team.
