We are currently recruiting for a rapidly growing company within the technology industry, based in Milton Keynes. The company is offering a 2 year training programme for budding System Administrators that are looking for the right environment to build on their existing skills. Your role as System Administrator is to review and implement requests originating from internal and external parties. The role will encompass Application testing, Research projects and providing basic IT support to the internal business.

Key Responsibilities:

* To quickly obtain intricate knowledge of core applications, which will allow the administrator to offer effective first line support
* To work directly with clients and collaborate with other IT staff as required
* Willing to provide occasional out of hours support
* Testing new functionality developed for the applications to ensure they work as required. The administrator will be responsible for signing off new developments before they can be deployed to a production application

Required Skills / Knowledge:

* Bachelors Degree (2:1 or above)
* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
* Good verbal and communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Prior desktop support experience would be beneficial, but not essential

The role is 22k per annum, but you will be entitled to a performance based bonus and also a dedicated training budget each annum.
