Our client is a small, friendly & successful technology house looking for a SQL Server DBA to join their technical team. The role will eventually be responsible for owning their MS SQL environment & procedures & managing their hosted SQL solutions for their blue-chip client base.

We`re looking for evidence of the following skills (not all):

– Min 2 years` experience working on SQL Server as a DBA or developer.
– Strong SQL installation, configuration & optimisation skills.
– Knowledge of indexes, index management & DB statistics.
– Knowledge of backups, restores & recovery models.
– Exposure to MS Windows O/S.
– Exposure to T-SQL, triggers, stored procedures, SSIS or SSRS.

Ideally you will be degree educated & have an aspiration to work in a client facing capacity further down the line.
