We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer / Developer to work with the a very well known ecommerce sports retail company with offices based in Portsmouth.

This is a fun and fast development team environment. A team of skilled and enthusiastic developers working with leading edge technology (MVC4,.Net 4.5) in a proper Agile / SCRUM environment.

As Junior Developer you will be given all the tools, training and opportunity to become a highly skilled full stack developer. With full support from the team and management you will gain exposure to the best development practices in the industry and you will work on a varied and interesting range of websites, systems and applications.

To be considered you will need to have recently completed a Computer Science / Software Engineering / Multimedia type degree and gained 1.5+ years commercial development experience.

Summary:

Degree in a software engineering / development related discipline
1.5+ years commercial experience
Commercial use and sound knowledge of C#, ASP.Net and SQL Server
MVC is highly beneficial but you will be trained
Other useful/beneficial experience includes HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap, Agile, TDD, BDD, Entity Frameowrk, TFS, Unit testing, SOAP, JSON, Web Services etc. The company will offer loads of training, exposure to new technology and the opportunity to research new tools and technology you feel will benefit the business.
